On the third Saturday of every month, Men’s Ministry will host a breakfast in the Board Room beginning at 7:30 a.m. open to all men. The first breakfast will be June 19th. There will be food, fellowship, devotions, and a topic of the day for conversation. Out of these monthly gatherings, other specific events will grow. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!
Come for a night of prayer and praise on Friday, June 11th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Great Room! This worship event will feature music by the PHCPC Praise Team, Byron and Susie Chertick, Christ Community Church’s Praise Team, Cathasaigh and New Wine Harvest Church. This worship event is free and open to all!
This year’s Vacation Bible School will be held on the evenings of July 25, July 26, July 28, July 29 and July 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Can you help? Volunteers are needed to teach, organize, prepare snacks, decorate, put out the daily newsletter and so much more. Serve God and help the children (and adults) have a great time by contacting Eileen at (412) 461-2668.
Parents of second (2nd) graders who will be receiving Bibles on June 20th are asked to meet with Eileen Nola in Room 115 during the Education hour on June 6th or June 13th. If you cannot attend either Sunday, please call Eileen at (412) 965-3284.
If you have a child who is in third (3rd) grade who has not received a Bible, please contact the church or Eileen Nola and arrangements will be made for your child to receive one.
The Farmer’s Market has returned to the upper parking lot! Come get fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and other items! Once again, bread from Breadworks will be available! The market is from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
On the first Thursday of each month, there will be music from 5-6 p.m. The first concert will be on June 3rd and features Joan Johnson on the keys and Linda Sue Boehmer on flute.
On Sunday, June 6th, there will be a spaghetti dinner from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room. Proceeds will go to help with Kayla’s care. Tickets will be on sale today in Fellowship Hall after the first service and in the Great Room Lobby after the second service. The suggested donation is $6 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Of course, greater donations will be appreciated! Tickets will also be sold at the door the day of the dinner.
