Sheets for single beds—both fitted and flat—are needed for the Interfaith Hospitality Network. If you have some sheets (and some pillow cases) to donate to the program, please drop them off at the Receptionist Desk in the church office. Thank you!
Individual requests for pastoral needs are being handled by Pastor Darlene Hann in conjunction with a designated team. Requests should be directed to Pastor Darlene or Linda Stout.
Have a fun, relaxing weekend with the kids at an alcohol-free weekend! The weekend features activities for all ages, but you can participate in as many or as few as you wish. This is a relaxing time where families can bond together. We’ll sleep in cabins, head to the mess hall for meals when the bell rings.

Adult Education has room for a few more leaders for the Fall semester. If you have an idea for a class you’d like to lead, contact Pastor Darlene or Cindy Virgin. You can get their e-mail addresses from the church.
The above title is the menu from a recent Healthy and Delicious class! It sure sounds good! The class meets Saturday mornings in Fellowship Hall from 10:00 AM until noon and there are some openings in the class. If you would like to attend, call the church office and leave your name. The last class will be on August 7th, 2010.
Sundays at 8:30 AM in the Board Room, there is a gathering for prayer—to praise and glorify God, ask His blessing on the day’s worship services and to bring our concerns to Him. Everyone is welcome to join.
A praise team from the Hot Metal Community will be leading us in worship on August 8th , 2010 at the 11:15 AM service. Please take an opportunity next week to welcome our fellow believers as we glorify God together!
The Search Team includes Diane McGuirk, Lori Mascaro and David Volk, plus session members Jean Crane, Steve Ament and Gary Molinaro. The Team has reviewed the resumes of several candidates and is in the process of arranging the first round of interviews. The Search Team is seeking someone who will faithfully provide leadership and vision to our staff and congregation, and who will help us through a time of transition and preparation for our new Senior Pastor. The Search Team desires your prayers for the Team, the Session, the Presbytery and the candidates as we seek God’s will and provision for our church.
