We offer many programs for adults of all ages and interests.  But it's not the programs but the people you will meet in them that matter.  Through these relationships you will encounter the fullness of a life lived with God.  Continue reading for descriptions of a few of our adult programs.

Small Groups

Small groups are the life of our church.  Groups of up to ten adults meet together, usually weekly, to discuss scripture, pray together, and support each other in the Christian life.  Devotional guides that supplement weekly teaching in worship are sometimes available and groups are also encouraged to choose their own material, whether it be a book of the Bible or other prepared texts. 

The Stephen Ministry

Members of our congregation have been trained in Christian care-giving skills and are ready to come alongside when you are faced with a problem...anything from a fairly normal life transition to a life-altering crisis. Alpha

The Alpha program was pioneered by speaker Nicky Gumbel in England and has since spread over the globe through VHS and DVD.  Each week, Alpha participants share a meal together, watch a DVD presentation by Gumbel about the basic questions of Christianity and discuss them.  Alpha is an open environment tailored for those just beginning to explore the Christian faith or those who have always had tough questions that have gone unanswered. 

Precepts

Bible studies for women based on materials from Precept International Ministries are offered several times a year.  Students complete lessons in advance, then gather together once a week to discuss what they learned in dynamic, interactive but comfortable settings with other students.  Learning is supplemented by video lectures.  Topics include books of the Bible as well as themes such as spiritual gifts or marriage.

Retired Men

There is a luncheon for retired men on the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm in our Fellowship Hall.  Each month features a special program of music or interesting presentation on a particular subject.  A Bible study for retired men also meets every Tuesday at 8:00 am. 

Mothers of Preschoolers

Mothers of Preschoolers meet for support and encouragement on the first and third Friday of every month at 9:00 am.  The MOPS Bible study meets the second and fourth Friday at 9:30 am.
