Children and Family Ministries

Here at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, we place an emphasis on both teaching children about God and giving their parents tools to further help children grow in their faith. Throughout the year, there are Sunday School, Children’s Worship, Jesus And Me (JAM), special programs and Vacation Bible School, as well as classes for parents about raising faith-filled youngsters.

Sunday Activities

The Sunday schedule will be changing September 12^th. For children, two complementary options will be offered, providing their families with choices for both worship and education.

With Scripture as the foundation, Sunday School (9:30 AM-10:30 AM during the traditional worship service) develops children’s knowledge about God. Children’s Worship (11:00 AM-noon during the contemporary worship service) nurtures their faith in God by discovering the wonder of God’s presence.

Thursday Activities

Thursdays starting this fall: Jesus and Me

This fall will begin JAM: Jesus And Me. For preschoolers through 5^th grade, JAM will be the Thursday night children’s program from September through early May.
