The PHCPC Preschool offers three levels: Starters, Steppers and Stretchers:
Starters

Our two-day class is for children who have turned 3 by September 1st.
Our day includes free play when the children may play with blocks, riding toys, the housekeeping center, the climbing loft, the dress-up area, etc. During this time also, each child spends one-on-one time with the teachers completing an art project and an exercise involving a cognitive skill. Our morning rounds out with songs, fingerplays, calendar-weather-time, exercise & games, snack and stories (including Bible stories).
Two hours goes quickly by when it’s filled with fun, creative ideas, imagination, confidence enhancers and most importantly, love.
Our cognitive program includes:
- Recognizing colors
- Recognizing, tracing and cutting shapes
- Recognizing, counting and tracing the numbers 1-5
- Age-appropriate activities in social studies and science
If enrolment is sufficient, a second class of Starters will be offered.
